Rocky Point and Father's and Son's

This past weekend was the best weekend we have had in a long time. The boys and Sal went on the Father and Son's camp-out and then met Olivia, Mason and I and the rest of my family in Rocky Point.

I think when Dad's take their son's camping they must take a vow of silence because I never hear about what they did. This much I do know.... they went up near Payson and visited the fish hatchery and a look-out tower before coming home. They hung out with the Woolley's and the Figueroa's. I didn't even know pictures existed but here they are.....

Since I didn't want to wait for Sal to go to Mexico, I hitched a ride with Colby and Brooke. Luckily Rocky Point is only 4 hours away and Olivia's iPod battery lasted the whole trip.

When we got there we headed right for the pool and the beach. Olivia was immediately ready to start collecting sea shells, but I reminded her we had 2 days left for collecting. Over the next 2 days she collected 2 beach buckets full and she had a hard time deciding which ones to bring home. Thanks to Granny and Papa for walking "for hours" to find the really huge seashells.

Olivia came home with the best tan!

Cole was content to just stay in the pool where it was free of sting rays.

Hayden jumped from pool to ocean and both boys decided we did NOT stay long enough.

I, however, was happy to get Mason back home where he could sleep somewhere other than in my arms. Mason didn't like the beach at all and preferred to be poolside where he could hear the waterfall. I will be happy next year to have a year old Mason rather than a 6 week old Mason. I think it will be more fun for me and I could EASILY stay for a whole week. Sal didn't bring his kites this year and I really missed watching him fly them on the beach. Next year the kites will be the first thing packed.
